 Why the name the Greater Church of The Risen Savior? Greater because we serve a GREAT GOD. It also denotes that our works should always exemplify greatness in all aspects. Church because we have centered our efforts around Christ and His Holy Church. Risen Savior because our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ arose from the dead, just like he said he would! Our founding Pastors realized that they chose the name well. As a member of this great church, you should always think great thoughts and perform at the peak of your God given ability. Never be shy and never give up! Our purpose is to be a helping hand, to advice, support, encourage and strengthen one another through relationship and fellowship. People often ask, “What’s going on at the Greater Church ?” One word answers that question – LOVE, Love says, “Whatever you’re going through we are there for one another. ” Through the good and the bad, we stick together because we love one another. The Greater Church and Ministries is there for you so you can be there for others.
Here we: We Recognize. We recognize that God has called you. Our mission is to provide a spiritual covering and help you succeed. We Plan. No great work can be accomplished without choosing a plan. We work together with you and your family to bring clarity, direction, and confidence to complete God's plan for you and your family. We Equip. We bring goals within your reach and help you establish and maintain workable procedures. We help make you more efficient and effective believer. We Build. We build up one another. The Greater Church and Ministries is designed to help you keep your expectations high, and see you through from start to finish. We Nurture. Jesus said "Suffer the little ones to come unto me." From the beginning, the heart of the Greater Church of The Risen Savior has been our youth. With your love and support, we minister God's love through our youth programs, touching the lives of more than 500 children and youth. We're helping to change the world one child at a time. We Train. Give man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime. By teaching people a skill and leading them into proper relationship with Jesus Christ, we are helping to bring in the great harvest. We Reach Out. We are family. We must go out and compel men and women, boys and girls to come to Jesus Christ, Now! Do you agree? Let's work together!
